The Seal of the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Delaware shall be in the form below and as hereinafter described: Within a beaded annulet the inscription "Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Delaware," surrounding a shield bearing the arms of the King of Great Britain, 1751, to wit: Quarterly I, England, gules three lions passant, gardant, or, impaling or, a lion rampant, within a double treasure, flory, counter-Flory, gules, for Scotland II, azure, three fleurs-de-lis, or for France III, azure, a harp or stringed azure, for Ireland IV, Hanover, per pale and per chevron; 1st, gules, two lions passant, gardant, in pale or for Brunswick 2nd, or, seeme of hearts, a lion rampant, azure, for Lunenburg 3rd, gules, a horse courant, argent, for Westphalia. Over all an inescutcheon gules, charged with the golden crown of Charlemagne. On a shield of pretense, argent, a bearer bendways proper; on a border tenne, a belt of wampum of the first, for the New Netherlands; impaling azure, three antique Crowns, for Sweden; Surmounting the whole, the Royal Crown of Great Britain, and flanking it on either side the dates 1638-1775; flanking the shield on the dexter side, the crest of the County of New Castleon the sinister side, the crest of the County of Sussex, and beneath the shield, the crest of the County of Kent.
